Pastor Oluwayomi Uteh (ACIS), born on December 7, is a graduate of Microbiology from the University of Lagos.
A qualified Chartered Secretary, she started her professional work experience at the prestigious firm of Coopers
and Lybrand. After a rewarding career at C & L, she moved on to take up appointment as the Head of Accounts
in TREM in 1995, from where she was appointed the Personal Assistant to Dr. Mike Okonkwo, the Presiding
Bishop of TREM and the National Vice-President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). She is
presently the Group Manager, Operations of TREM .
Oluwayomi, a self-taught IT professional has acquired expertise in an impressive array of software applications,
some of which include Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Sage Accounting Software, SystemSpecs Human Manager
(Human Resource, Payroll, and Pensions), CDM Pro Church Database Administration Software, SQL 2000 Server,
CorelDraw and Joomla Web Content Management Software.
She has also acquired expertise in Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) configuration,
Network Administration, Database Administration, Data Transfer Operations, Web Administration, Public
Administration, People Management, as well as Financial and Management Accounting. Her work experience
also includes Advertising Management, Events Management, Financial Planning and Corporate Strategy.
She is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, UK (ICSA),
Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel
Development, UK (CIPD), Member of the Chartered Management Institute, UK and a student member of Chartered Institute
of Personnel Management (CIPM).
Oluwayomi Uteh joined TREM in 1986. She was the chairperson of the Youth Sisters before moving on to the Young Women
Christian Fellowship, a group to which she still belongs. She was called into the Pastorate of TREM in November 2005.
Oluwayomi, who enjoys reading books on Leadership, Management, Strategy, and Corporate Planning, lives in Lagos and is
happily married to her husband, Deacon Gilbert Uteh.
