Rev Fubara Sam-Obomanu was born on the 29th day of June, 1961, in Queens Town Opobo in Opobo/Nkoro Local
Government Area of Rivers State. He attended St. Barnabas Primary School in 1966 but because
of the Nigerian Civil War, he suspended his schooling. From 1970 – 1972, he completed his primary
education in Salvation Army School in Lagos, from where he proceeded to St. Timothy College,
Onike in Lagos from 1973 – 1974. In 1974 -1978, he attended the Methodist Secondary School
in Akwa Ibom State, and in 1980 – 1982, he attended the Rivers State School of Basic Studies.
From 1982 – 1984, he attended the Central Texas College in the United States of America
to study Aviation as a career pilot
Between 1985 and 1990, he was self employed as a Contractor, and in 1991, he worked with Uncle Bassey Enterprises
Limited where he rose to become the Administrative Manager before he disengaged in 1999.
Fubara Sam-Obomanu embraced the saving grace of Jesus Christ in 1996. He served in the
Intercessory Ministry in TREM Headquarters Church before moving to Port Harcourt, where he
continued in the Intercessory Ministry. In 1998, he became a house fellowship leader when he returned
back to Lagos and continued active participation in the Intercessory Ministry. In fulfilling
the call of God upon his life, he enrolled at the God’s Army Bible Training College in 2000 and
bagged a Diploma. In the same year, he joined the Pastorate of TREM, and in 2001, he was deployed
to the headquarters church of the then South-South Zone under Bishop Dan Nnani, where he
served as the head of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry and also as a teacher
in the MIT (Ministry in Training).
In 2003, he was deployed to TREM Akoka, as an Assistant Pastor, and to head the Intercessory Prayer
Ministry of the branch. In May 2004, he was deployed back to the Headquarters Church to head the
Intercessory Prayer Ministry of TREM. In November 2004, he was ordained a Reverend in TREM. Presently,
he is the head of the Intercessory Ministry of TREM World Wide and reports directly to Bishop Peace Okonkwo.
He enjoys observing Nature especially documentaries, Sports, Traveling and Reading. He is married to Ann and
they are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Piriye.
